Edward A. Balling earthquake miscellany : San Francisco, Calif., 1906 Apr. 20-21.

Contains two official passes issued soon after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire. The first, dated April 20, addressed to civil and military officials, allows Balling to pass through all lines; the second, dated April 21, by order of the Mayor, requests that Balling be allowed to travel to Oakland. With these is an envelope with the notation, "Introducing Edward A. Balling."
